The hole story
So Betsy and I told such fascinating stories about the hole in the backyard that Tom was compelled to come over and do some digging. Following are some pictures of what we (well, he) found so far in about an hour's worth of digging ...

hi Mery! its tim from the long distant past. i saw your website in the Simons rock news letter! i too have been involved in digging a monsterous treanch in the last few days! 700 feet thruough the forest! we put in a new gravity feed spring and brought the line right down to my house. with the help of a giant backhoe! the trench was about 14 feet deep anthe top. i havent been online all summer but im back! i have a yahoo id: its FABULOUSDIRTFARMER. im on dial-up
