Police car

I took this picture awhile ago, but today I was walking up the steep road with the locked fence at the top of it (and the signs saying, "no traspassing. no dumping.") on my way out of Picaville when I heard a car. I looked behind me and saw a police car driving around the field towards the road I was on. I thought, "I wonder if I could reach the locked gate before the police car got to me," because I was vaguely worried they might give me a hard time, and then I realized that the police car was actually driving after an old grey pickup truck which was on the hill with me, just around the bend. I turned back to trudging up the hill. The truck reach the bend (actually a hair-pin turn) and, seeing the locked gate, I assume, stopped about 1 block away from me. The police car reached the pickup. I kept walking until I was out of sight, because by that point I was vaguely worried about stray bullets,and then I went to the top of the bluff to observe them both. What happened was after a couple of minutes they both drove out of there.
