I have several good ideas about internet dating and I take my sexual activity and eventual marriage as proof positive of their validity.
One had to do with the photos I used -- I'll post those in a minute and explain the ideas that went along with them then.
The other had to do with following advice that Andy gave me on internet dating: show, don't tell. So, instead of saying "I have a great sense of humor" you should tell a funny joke or story. I had quite a bit of success with my post of my "De-Contextualized T-Shirts from Around the Third World" idea (which I don't know if I've posted here, yet -- I'll do so in a sec if I haven't).
My other ideas aren't very interesting -- they're kinda mundane, actually: don't drag out the emailing phase for very long, be sure to drink alcohol on your first date, try to wear something with your name on it, etc. Some of them I learned through hard experience.
OK -- my other great dating idea, the boy matrix, deserves its own entry. I'll post that as a seperate entry.
