Pretty Good Idea: Don't put your regular email address on your comments
Chris gave me this piece of advice, which is don't use your regular non-spammy email address when you respond here (sorry, Melissa!) apparently if you do you will get more spam. Not from me but from futuristic spam bots which will no doubt be harvasting like crazy on my wildly popular blog.
